Raveen Ashwin A/L Kavi Rajan

Raveen Ashwin began his journey into the realm of legal practice after being Called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in March 2022. Upon his return to Malaysia, he commenced his pupillage at Messrs. Sitham & Associates shortly after whereupon he was Called to the Bar in the High Court of Malaya in March 2023. Following that, Raveen Ashwin joined Messrs Chan Eng & Co. in July 2024.

Raveen Ashwin has a sheer passion for litigation, in particular criminal litigation. At Messrs Chan Eng & Co., Raveen Ashwin is part of the legal team that predominantly deals with criminal litigation cases. In dealing with a variety of criminal cases, Raveen Ashwin finds joy in studying the eloquence and elaborateness of the law and its different applicability to each unique case. Raveen Ashwin firmly believes that the pathway through legal practice is a never ending journey of constant learning as he continuously strives for excellence as he navigates through this pathway.

Raveen Ashwin is able to communicate in three different languages namely, English, Malay and Tamil.
