Chan Shao Hang

Shao Hang is one of the Founding Partners of Messrs Chan Eng & Co. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2013.

Prior to founding Messrs Chan Eng & Co., he was practicing as an Advocate and Solicitor in Messrs Shahrizat Rashid & Lee, a full service commercial law firm in Malaysia which is on the panel of most financial institutions in Malaysia and advising both domestic and foreign clients range from individuals to public listed companies, MNCs.

Shao Hang was promoted as Senior Associate with Messrs Shahrizat Rashid & Lee in year 2017 and primarily handles contentious civil and commercial disputes involving General Debt recovery, Banking Litigation, Landlord and Tenancy dispute, Theft of Electricity cases, Defamation claim and other related works.

Shao Hang has founded Messrs Chan Eng & Co. in year 2019 where he leads the civil and commercial department. Throughout the years, he has acquired wealth of knowledge and considerable experience in handling land and property disputes including land fraud cases, eviction action, caveats, land acquisition, land forfeiture, trespass and encroachment, strata scheme disputes. He is currently advising a few of the prominent Developers and has experience acting for Individual Property Owners too.

He also advises on Corporate and Company disputes, contentious probate action, construction cases, trust and equity and all range of commercial disputes. He is regularly engaged for Trial and Appellate works too.
